Play Nice
Walkabout Mini Golf is designed to be a joyous and wholesome social experience, and we want to keep it that way! As a community, we want to emphasize that all players should be treated with respect and kindness, no matter what their background or skill level might be.
It’s also important to keep in mind that the comfort level of your fellow golfers should always be considered. If they need some space or ask for something to be changed, do your best to accommodate them.
Lastly, in the game of mini golf, there are often winners and losers. Celebrate your victories humbly and handle your defeats graciously. No one likes a sore winner OR a sore loser!
Play Fair
Sure, Walkabout Mini Golf is an enjoyable, fun-filled time – however you choose to play it. That being said, there is plenty of competition to be had in our courses and it’s vital that we keep our greens fair for all. Avoid cheating or using exploits, hacks, bots or third-party software. We definitely don’t want unfair advantages for anyone!
Outside of the technical aspects mentioned above, our community also doesn’t grief, interfere or disrupt other golfers in any way. Respectful cheers and encouragement? Good. Shouting as someone tries to putt? Bad.
Did you happen to see or experience something that felt off, unusual or unfair? Check out further down the page about reporting those situations. The more reports we see, the more we are able to make corrections and keep the game an even playing field for everyone.
Play Safe
Safety continues to, and will always be, one of the quintessential pillars of the Walkabout Mini Golf experience. Everyone, and we mean EVERYONE, deserves an environment that they feel safe being a part of. If you encounter any fraudsters, scammers or otherwise untrustworthy players, report them as soon as you can!
If you happen to run into an individual requesting personal or account information, please do not provide them with any information. Walkabout Mini Golf staff will never reach out to you in-game for this information, and keeping your info protected is crucial! Inversely, you should also not attempt to gather or access other players' information either.
Expectations
Anyone who enters the world of Walkabout Mini Golf deserves a chance to enjoy themselves, however they choose to play! In order to uphold the values above, there are some key tenets that our community requires you to follow. Call it a list of Do’s and Don’t’s, if you will:
Do:
- Show respect and warmth to your fellow players
- Consider the comfort level and experiences of others
- Give it your best effort while staying respectful in competitive settings
- Celebrate your fellow players and have fun!
Don’t:
- Harass, bully, or otherwise offend anyone based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability or any other personal characteristic
- Give up, sabotage, cheat or ruin the game for anyone
- Shout, use abusive, offensive, or excessively vulgar language with other players
- Steal from, impersonate or otherwise try to manipulate other players for their personal or account information
Reporting and Accountability
If you encounter any behavior or actions that violate this Code of Conduct or the Terms of Service, we encourage you to report it through our Support channels ]. Your reports help us maintain a positive environment for all of our Walkabout Mini Golf players, so please don’t hesitate to let us know if you see something!
While we encourage reporting of harmful behavior, submitting false reports with the intent to harm another player’s experience is also a violation of the Code of Conduct and the Terms of Service. Please utilize our reporting system in good faith.
Consequences of Violations
Ahh, yes. This is the part that no one likes, but is sadly necessary to keep our Walkabout community delightful and most importantly, safe! Take a look at the breakdown of outcomes for violations below:
- For first-time or minor violations, you may receive a warning and a reminder about the Code of Conduct. Please do your best to avoid future violations.
- Repeated violations or more serious infractions may result in a temporary suspension of your account or other penalties.
- Severe or continuous violations of the Code of Conduct may result in a permanent ban from Walkabout Mini Golf’s online features, multiplayer functions, and other associated services.
Additionally, if you are found in violation of this Code of Conduct, the use of multiple accounts to exploit the rules or bypass penalties is not allowed. This will result in all accounts being sanctioned permanently. Please don’t make us do any of this!
If you believe you have been unfairly punished, you are more than welcome to submit an appeal through our Support channels and we will be happy to take a look and get back to you as soon as we can.

Our wonderful community does not exist and thrive without the marvelous players that make it so. We are incredibly grateful to have one of the best groups of players in gaming, and we hope that this Code of Conduct helps maintain that for many, many years to come.
